Use the case study below to answer the following questions. A married male named Frank, age 84 has had a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease for the past 8 years. His wife is deceased but all 3 of his adult children live within a 50 mile proximity of the memory care facility in which he resides.  His children decided to place him in the facility 4 years ago due to concerns for his safety and their inability to care for him around the clock.  He recognizes himself and is able to occasionally recall his birthday, names of his parents, names of siblings and events from his childhood.  He sometimes calls out for his wife who passed away 25 years ago, and wanders the facility looking for her.  He occasionally recalls the names of his children, but not those of their spouses or his grandchildren.  At times he may refer to the grandchildren by the names of his children thinking they are still young. ADL’s are accomplished only with consistent encouragement and moderate assistance.  Eating is independent; however, meals are provided by the facility.  Medications must be given by the health center staff.  Questions1: What do you believe to be this client’s main concerns from his point of view?  2: What do you believe would be the concerns of his children and the health center staff?3: In addition to the client, explain who else will be affected by his diagnosis/situation and the future of it and why?
