You and other fellow workers in the group are upset that Jeff has been slacking off and feel the group should address the issue before the situation gets worse. You have worked with Jeff for a while now and know he’s not lazy, however, you do feel he may be overdramatizing his problems a bit, is taking advantage of the group’s efforts to complete the extra work, and he needs to be more committed to the group. Anytime a group member has brought these concerns up with Jeff, he gets defensive and maintains that he is working just as hard as everyone else and is contributing equally.
